The Five-day Workshop on Empowering Local Crafts through Digital Skills was organized under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded Science Technology and Innovation Hub (STIHUB) at the Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, Assam, India, from 5 to 9 March, 2026. The program was a part of a broader theme, “From Production to Market: Leveraging Digital & Artificial Intelligence Technologies for Inclusive Growth”. The workshop aimed to strengthen the digital capabilities of local artisans, weavers, entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and grassroots enterprises by introducing them to the concept of the Digital Value Chain and its application in traditional production systems.
